Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and diligent Sweeper to join our team in Birmingha. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across designated premises, ensuring a safe and tidy environment. This role involves operating various cleaning equipment and may include driving duties related to commercial deliveries. Previous experience with flatbed vehicles, driving, or as a delivery driver is advantageous. Responsibilities

Operate sweeping and cleaning machinery to maintain floors, pavements, and outdoor areas Assist with the organisation and disposal of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify cleanliness issues or hazards Drive commercial vehicles adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Ensure all equipment is maintained in good working order and report any faults promptly Follow company policies regarding health, safety, and environmental standards

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial driving Valid glass 2 driving licence suitable for operating commercial vehicles no experience in road sweeping required as we have people who can train you up. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good physical fitness, capable of performing manual tasks and working outdoors in various weather conditions
