Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Sweeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in designated areas, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to operate various types of sweeping equipment. Candidates with experience in commercial driving, particularly those familiar with Bucher Road Sweepers, will be highly regarded.

Duties

Operate sweeping machinery to clean fully operational yard, streets, and other designated areas. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Report any malfunctions or issues with machinery to the supervisor promptly. Assist in the removal of debris and litter from public spaces. Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and performing cleaning tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are cleaned effectively and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

Previous experience as a road sweeper operative is essential. Valid HGV driver's licence with a clean driving record; experience as a sweeper driver is preferred. Ability to operate flatbed vehicles is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
