Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Sweeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in various environments, ensuring that all areas are free from debris and hazards. This role requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, for transporting equipment as needed.

Duties

Operate sweeping machinery and equipment to clean designated areas effectively. Drive flatbed lorries for the delivery of cleaning equipment and materials. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and maintenance. Report any issues or malfunctions with machinery to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored correctly after use. Assist in the training of new staff on safe operating procedures and best practices for sweeping operations. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing duties.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential. Valid driver's licence with experience in commercial driving preferred. Ability to operate flatbed lorries safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. Physically fit, with the ability to perform manual tasks as required.

Pay: 15.21-21.17 per hour
