Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and self sufficient squad. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, and maintaining sewer systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to develop specialised skills within a professional environment, contributing to essential infrastructure projects. The ideal applicant will demonstrate precision, reliability, and a strong work ethic to ensure the integrity of sewer installations and repairs.

Duties



install sewer pipes and related components according to technical specifications and drawings. Inspect sewer systems for defects or blockages and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised machinery safely and efficiently during installation and maintenance tasks. Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to high standards. Assist in troubleshooting issues within existing sewer systems to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

Skills



Proven experience as a Sewer or in a similar role within the construction or utilities sector is preferred. Strong understanding of safety standards, and environmental regulations related to sewer installation and maintenance. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment relevant to sewer work. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately. Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour in various weather conditions. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high safety standards. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 - 55 per week
