This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to manage a small team of engineers within the company, being responsible delivering cutting edge robot and automated assembly solutions.
This is a unique opportunity to both lead your own small team and retain a degree of Hands-on programming on the job.
You will be an integral part of management team, leading the robot and automation process right from the initial concepting and simulations, being involved with technical specifications, system building and programming through to the final system commissioning and client hand-over.
The role will include;
Responsibility for the successful delivery of all Robot & Process related aspects of the companies contracts. (e.g. robot programming, simulation, layout, process sequence, joining technology (e.g. weld, SPR, Bonding etc)
Leading a small team of robot/ automation engineers
Management & Delivery of robot and automation tasks with contract deadlines
Working to internal and customer specifications
Responsibility & management of Robot & Automation budgets
Provide Robot, Process, layout related studies and support for order Acquisitions on Automated systems (customer quotes, enquiries)
The ideal candidate will ideally have competence and experience in the following:
Hands-on Robot programming of Industrial Robots including; ABB, Fanuc, Kuka, Yaskawa
Experience of Mig welding, Resistance Spotwelding, Robot Handling, Robot Dosing application, Riveting, joining.
Programming, set-up & commissioning of robot software related to peripheral equipment
Some familiarity of PLC's would be an advantage

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
