We are seeking a dedicated Roofer/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves working on various roofing projects, assisting with general construction tasks, and supporting the installation and repair of roofing systems. Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems on residential and commercial properties Prepare work sites by setting up scaffolding, ladders, and safety barriers Handle and operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised roofing equipment safely and efficiently Follow schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation processes Support with fabrication and carpentry tasks as needed for roofing structures Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, tiles, metal sheets, and other roofing components Assist with masonry, plumbing, or other related trades during integrated construction projects Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety at all times Adhere to health and safety regulations while working at heights or in challenging conditions

Skills

Experience or familiarity with schematics, welding, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or fabrication is advantageous Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing and construction work Knowledge of roofing techniques and materials is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in following technical drawings and schematics Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions A proactive attitude towards safety procedures and teamwork within a busy construction environment

Pay: 97.68-241.12 per day
