Overview

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively with various materials and tools. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret schematics, ensuring that all roofing projects are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials including shingles, metal, and flat roofing systems. Interpret schematics and blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively. Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process. Conduct inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards. Engage in fabrication tasks as needed, including carpentry and masonry work related to roofing installations. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations on-site.

Experience

Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields is essential. Familiarity with schematics and blueprints is highly desirable. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is required. Experience in carpentry, plumbing, or masonry will be considered an asset. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
