Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in roofing and construction, demonstrating the ability to fabricate, build, and repair roofs using various materials. This role requires proficiency with both power and hand tools, as well as an understanding of schematics and masonry techniques. The Roofer will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and durability of roofing structures while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings. Fabricate roofing materials as needed to meet project specifications. Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation of roofing systems. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for various roofing tasks. Conduct inspections of existing roofs to identify damage or necessary repairs. Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and masons, to complete projects efficiently. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong skills in roofing. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to roofing tasks. Ability to read and understand schematics related to roofing projects. Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work at heights safely. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. driving licence and van highly desirable
