Overview

We are RMS Energy Solutions Ltd. A construction company based in Coventry, w are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our installations team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction for all roof types. This role is to ensure that properties are installed, repaired and maintained to a high standard. The post holder will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements, efficiently and economically, in compliance with current working practices, health and safety legislation, and industry best practices.

You would need to have effective communication with customers and team members, providing relevant information regarding further works needed to colleagues to help program and sequence tasks. Working in a professional, respectful and courteous manner you will deliver excellent customer service, objectives and achieve behaviour competences.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and replace roofs using a variety of materials including shingles, metal, and tiles. Work closely with solar install teams to complete projects Inspect roofs for damage or leaks and provide appropriate solutions. Follow schematics and building plans to ensure accurate installation. Fabricate and build roof structures as needed. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to H&S regulations. Training apprentices.

Experience

Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar construction role is preferred. Familiarity with roofing materials and techniques is essential. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment is required. Knowledge of masonry techniques is beneficial. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to read schematics are important for this role.

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
