We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in roofing and possess knowledge of various tools and techniques required for the job.
Duties
- Use power tools to cut and shape materials for roofing projects
- Install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings
- Fabricate and build structures such as beams and trusses to support roofs
- Utilise hand tools for precise work on roofing materials
- Weld materials together to create secure joints
- Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and equipment
- Interpret schematics and blueprints for accurate roof construction
- Conduct masonry work related to roofing projects
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools for roofing tasks
- Ability to plumb and fabricate roofing structures accurately
- Strong skills in building and repairing roofs effectively
- Experience with hand tools commonly used in roofing projects
- Welding expertise for joining roofing materials securely
- Capability to handle heavy lifting involved in roofing work
- Understanding of schematics and blueprints for precise roof construction
