Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Slater/Roofer & Roughcaster, The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining Pitched and Flat roofs on residential properties, Roughcasting & Plastering experience will be of advantage but training can be given

Responsibilities

Flexible Working patterns that suit your lifestyle. Install, repair, and replace roofs using various materials such as Slates, Tiles and Single Ply flat roofing systems. Ensure roofs are watertight and structurally sound by performing regular inspections and maintenance. Fabricate roofing components as needed to meet project specifications. Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Experience

You must be a Time Served Roofer. Excellent time keeping and communications skills. Be willing to undertake bolt on skills if required. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in roofing tasks. Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding work is essential. Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to roofing is advantageous.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.00-18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
