Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled roofer and joiner/ carpenter/ handymen to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. This role involves constructing, repairing, and maintaining brick structures, ensuring high standards of quality and safety are upheld throughout the project.

Responsibilities

roofer/ handymen/carpenter/ plumber/ electrician, and other types of building work units according to specifications and design plans.
joiner/ carpenter

Measure and cut materials to ensure precise fitting. Mix mortar and other bonding agents as required for various projects. roofing structure / laying tiles etc plumbing and electric installation Construct walls, arches, and other structures using bricks and blocks. Repair existing brickwork by replacing damaged bricks or repointing joints. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and welders, to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines. Inspect completed work for quality assurance and compliance with building codes.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a roofer /joiner/ carpenter/handymen in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to masonry work. Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and safety practices. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour for extended periods. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. A valid driver's licence is preferred but not essential.
