Overview

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial properties.

Duties

Install roofing systems using a variety of materials including shingles, metal, and flat roofing systems Conduct inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs Perform maintenance tasks to prolong the life of roofing systems Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing roofing materials Fabricate components as needed for custom roofing solutions Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications Follow schematics and blueprints to accurately execute roofing plans Adhere to safety protocols while working at heights and with heavy materials

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing or a related construction field Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment Familiarity with carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and heavy lifting techniques Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent physical fitness for working at heights and performing manual labour A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites

Pay: 100.00-175.00 per day
