We're looking for an experienced
Roofer
to join our growing team to support our electricians with the installation ofsolar PV systems
. This is a hands-on role that involves working across a variety of properties, ensuring safe and efficient access and mounting of solar panels.You'll be working alongside a qualified electrician, providing essential roofing support including tile/slate removal, flashing installation, and reinstatement of roof finishes post-installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Preparing roofs for solar panel installations Supporting the fitting of mounting systems on pitched tiled and slate roofs Removing and refitting tiles/slates with precision Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard Working collaboratively with electricians and other team members Maintaining a clean and safe working environment on site
Requirements:
Proven experience working on
both tiled and slate roofs
(essential) Comfortable working at height and using access equipment Strong understanding of roofing safety practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent attention to detail Full clean driving licence must be prepared to travel.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per day
