Overview

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively with various tools and materials. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial properties.

The first 2-3 months you will be working with our area manager ensuring your roofing skills are up to standard carrying out roofing works in the Blackpool area as wel as training on our pricing procedures

This will Move into a management role within 3 months where you will be in charge of running the area - Quotes and Staff

At this point a company car and profit based Bonus's will activate

Responsibilities

Install roofing systems according to specifications and schematics Repair and replace damaged roofs using appropriate materials Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Perform heavy lifting as required during installation and repairs Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time Conduct inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times Assist with other construction tasks as needed, including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and fabrication

Qualifications

Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields Proficient in reading schematics and technical drawings Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous Strong skills in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 kg) regularly Knowledge of carpentry principles is beneficial Experience in masonry work is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 150.00-194.00 per day
