Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively with various materials and tools. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret schematics for roofing projects. The Roofer will be responsible for installing the roof to a loft conversions

Responsibilities

Install roofing systems: flat roof and tiles system, insulation, and windows Interpret schematics and blueprints to determine project specifications Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for roofing tasks Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation and repair processes Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times Assist in fabrication tasks as needed, including carpentry and masonry work

Experience

Proven experience in roofing or a related construction field is essential Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools specific to roofing applications Knowledge of plumbing systems may be beneficial for certain projects Experience with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks is required
