Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively with various materials and tools. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Install roofing systems using a variety of materials including slates, tiles,shingles, and flat roofing systems. Conduct repairs on existing roofs, identifying issues such as leaks or damage. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks. Read and interpret schematics to understand project specifications and requirements. Perform heavy lifting as required while working on roofs at various heights. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations. Assist in fabrication tasks when necessary, including carpentry and masonry work related to roofing projects. Proven experience in roofing or a related field is essential. Familiarity with construction practices and techniques is required. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and equipment specific to roofing tasks is necessary. Experience in heavy lifting and working at heights is crucial for this role. Knowledge of schematics, welding, fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, and masonry will be considered advantageous.
