We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our dedicated team. Duties

Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials such as shingles, metal, and tiles. Interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs. Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and fastening roofing materials. Perform heavy lifting as required when handling roofing materials and equipment. Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently. Conduct regular inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. Apply knowledge of welding techniques for specific roofing applications. Engage in fabrication tasks as needed for custom roofing solutions. Assist with carpentry work related to roof structures and frameworks. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing or a related construction field is essential. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and construction plans is required. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is advantageous. Strong understanding of carpentry principles and masonry techniques is desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. Basic plumbing knowledge may be beneficial for certain roofing projects.
