Overview

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, demonstrating proficiency in various techniques and tools. This role involves working on diverse roofing projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The successful applicant will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs, contributing to the overall integrity and durability of structures. The majority of works will be on new build housing developments with the odd repair and re-roof.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain roofs using a variety of materials including Concrete tiles & Slates. Use power tools and hand tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fastening materials. Fabricate roofing components as needed to meet project demands. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.

Experience

Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role within the construction industry. Proficiency in using power tools such as saws, drills, and nail guns. Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in roofing tasks. Ability to plumb and weld as necessary for specific roofing applications. Experience in building structures and understanding of basic carpentry principles is advantageous. A strong understanding of roofing materials and their applications is essential.
CSCS Card Necessary - Other training such as Abrasive wheels & Working at height preferred.

Drivers License Required - Own Vehicle Preferred (Pay adjusted accordingly)
