The Role of an Engineer:

We have opportunities for an experienced Roof Maintenance Technician to cover our contracts in North West, East Midlands & West Midlands. The Engineer must be able to work on tiled roofs, flat roofs and corrugated sheet roofs and have the ability to do basic lead work.

The team comprises of 2 persons to complete PPM's initiating with a thermal drone survey of the roof and solar panels to identify defects, pest ingress and report on remedial and cleaning works required. Gutter cleaning utilising the SkyVac system. Repairing small remedial works whilst at the facility with more extensive remedial works scheduled in at a later date.

This role involves being on call for urgent reactive call outs 1 week on-call 1 week off-call with occasional stay away nights. Out of hours call-outs between 7pm to 5am are paid at time and half with Sunday working also paid at time and half.

Team members will be fully trained in pest management, it is a requirement to also conduct pest control assisting the existing qualified pest control officer.

Working Days & Times:

Monday - Thursday (4 days per week - overtime available)

7am - 4pm (32 hours per week) - 1 hours unpaid break per day.

It is a requirement for our Engineers to be flexible and assistance with time management from our leadership team to support our customer in urgent reactive works outside of our scheduled working hours when required.

Requirements:

One main trade qualification (or time served trades experience) e.g. NVQ 2, NVQ 3, City & Guilds. An understanding and be able to use effectively (after training) equipment and processes which may be reasonably required by the Company Recent experience working in a commercial setting Experience and a passion for delivering high quality services to a diverse range of customers PASMA certification (advantageous but not a requirement) IPAF certification (advantageous but not a requirement) Experience for drone piloting (advantageous but not a requirement) Full UK driving licence
