Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Labourer to join our team. This role involves a variety of tasks related to roofing and construction, requiring both physical strength and technical knowledge. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with hand tools, understanding schematics, and performing heavy lifting. A background in carpentry, masonry, or welding would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems on residential and commercial buildings. Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate installation of roofing materials. Assist in the fabrication and building of structures as needed. Perform heavy lifting and manoeuvre materials safely on job sites. Use hand tools effectively for various tasks including cutting, shaping, and fastening materials. Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals efficiently.

Requirements

Previous experience in roofing or a related field is preferred. Ability to read and understand schematics and blueprints. Familiarity with carpentry, masonry, or welding techniques is a plus. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing. Proficient in the use of hand tools relevant to roofing tasks. Excellent teamwork skills and a commitment to safety on the job site. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques as required by the role.
