Jd roofing repairs Ltd is looking for a roofer that is experienced in starting new roofs off , tiles , slates , battens , flat roof , torch on felt to join our team full time we're also looking for a labour if you have any experience please get in touch .....We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This role involves various roofing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of roofs. The successful applicant will be comfortable with heavy lifting and the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal. Assist in the fabrication of roofing components as required. Perform heavy lifting and manual labour to support roofing projects. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to ensure accurate installation. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on site to ensure quality workmanship. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with masonry work as needed during roofing projects.

Experience

Previous experience in roofing or construction is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques is advantageous. Ability to read schematics and blueprints is a plus. Experience in carpentry or masonry would be beneficial but not mandatory. Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks.
