Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction and roofing, demonstrating proficiency with various tools and techniques. This role involves working on diverse roofing projects, ensuring quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

Carry out roofing installations, repairs, and maintenance on various structures. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for roofing tasks. Read and interpret schematics to understand project specifications. Assist in the fabrication of roofing materials as required. Perform heavy lifting and manual labour as part of daily tasks. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow on-site. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Engage in carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and welding tasks as needed to support roofing projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields is preferred. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and their safe operation is essential. Knowledge of schematics and the ability to follow detailed instructions is required. Experience in fabrication, carpentry, plumbing, or masonry is advantageous. Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and work at heights safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
