Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Roofer/Multi-skilled trades person to join our construction team. This role involves working on various projects that require expertise in roofing, carpentry, masonry, and general construction within a domestic and commercial sector.

The ideal candidate will have experience within construction industry and a broad range of trade skills to support our existing team.

This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects in a dynamic environment, utilising a wide array of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results.

Duties

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment Carry out various slate, tile and felt roofing repairs Carry out planned maintenance tasks within the commercial sector Various skills in relation to trowel trades

Requirements

A knowledge of liquid plastic would be advantageous however not essential as training would be given Maintain a clean and safe work environment whilst adhering to safety protocols at all times Problem solve and work to tight deadlines Works well within a team and independently Communicates clearly and professionally whilst on site Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields with hands-on site experience Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques Experience with construction site safety standards and protocols Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements Clean driving licence - Essential CSCS Card - Essential PASMA - Preferred but not Essential IPAF - Preferred but not Essential

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 15.50-17.00 per hour
