Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Roofer/Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. This role involves various roofing tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of roofs. The successful applicant will also be responsible for assisting with general labour duties on-site.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship. Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various roofing tasks. Fabricate components as needed for roofing projects. Assist carpenters in building structures related to roofing installations. Ensure all work is plumb and level according to specifications. Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation and maintenance processes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

Previous experience in roofing or construction is preferred but not essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks. Ability to read schematics and follow technical instructions accurately. Basic carpentry skills are an advantage. Strong physical fitness to handle heavy lifting and long hours on-site. A commitment to safety practices and procedures at all times. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to roofing. A full U.K Driving licence with no penalty points
