Overview

We are seeking a skilled Roofing Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and construction, with the ability to work effectively with various materials and tools.

This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to follow specifications and plans accurately. As a Roofing Supervisor you will be responsible for all roofing works for Pathfinder Homes at the factory as well as overseeing all our Production 1st fix Teams.

Duties

Install roofing systems using a variety of materials including tiles and metal. Repair and replace damaged roofing materials to ensure the integrity of the roof. Perform inspections to identify potential issues and recommend solutions. Utilise hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Follow Specifications and construction plans to ensure accurate installations. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience in roofing or related construction fields. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Knowledge of roofing principles. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities:

To prepare roofs in accordance with build schedule; Construct roofs, including flat roofs, in accordance with design specification and plan; Build roofs in accordance to the day sequence; To cut and fit flashings; To measure and cut building materials and spaces for roofing accurately; Use of power tools and other tools; Ensure work area is clean and tidy at all times; Ensure health and safety regulations are met and best practice standards observed;

Pay

: During probation period, we pay accrued Holiday on top of hourly rate.

[Base Rate] per hour, plus separate holiday pay at 12.07% (paid with each payslip or in a lump sum at the end of your contract).

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
