We are seeking a dedicated Labourer to join our construction and fabrication team. This role involves assisting with various manual tasks across multiple projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and capable of working in a dynamic environment. This position offers valuable experience in construction-related trades and is suitable for individuals looking to develop their skills within the industry.

Duties

Assist with the assembly and disassembly of structures using hand tools and power tools Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to support project execution Perform heavy lifting and manual labour tasks required on-site Support roofing, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, and fabrication activities as needed Operate power tools safely and efficiently under supervision Carry out site preparation activities including clearing debris and organising materials Follow health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment Support skilled tradespeople such as welders, masons, carpenters, and plumbers in their tasks

Skills

Basic understanding of schematics and technical drawings is advantageous Experience or familiarity with welding, roofing, masonry, carpentry, plumbing, or fabrication is desirable Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks consistently Good organisational skills with attention to detail Strong teamwork ethic and willingness to learn new skills Physical fitness suitable for working in outdoor environments for extended periods
