Kingdom Academy is a national training provider which supports businesses in training and apprenticeships.

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to join our team as a Roofing Assessor, someone who is committed to delivering a best-in-class service to both learners and stakeholders. You will have a solid background in Construction, specifically Roof Slating and Tiling, with the ability to translate your expertise into engaging, high-quality learning experiences that align with qualification requirements. The successful applicant will deliver trade disciplined Vocational Qualifications and/or training to clients and administer the awards in accordance with award body requirements

Experience/Qualifications/Licenses/Competencies

(holding or working towards is a distinct advantage)

Construction at supervisory level: 1 year (preferred) Craft Trade: 3 years (preferred) SVQ in relevant craft trade at Level 3 at SCQF Level 6 and above (essential) Assessor Award (L&D9D) (desirable or willing to work towards) Experience of construction at craft level in construction The ability to work as part of a team A full five-year checkable employment history including a minimum of 2 work references, a personal credit check, right of work compliance Driving License holder (Full UK)

Planning and programming own workload to suit the delivery needs of the clients and the company. Liaising with candidate's line management where required and ensure that the learner has a clear understanding of how to progress within the award. Arranging assessment visits as required to meet the needs of the company and the needs of the learners. Designing, developing, and delivering training courses as required by the business. Preparing and uploading all evidence to "the learning portal" Delivering inductions as per company and awarding body requirements Storing all associated assessment observations/progress reports and induction documentation in the appropriate files in "the learning portal" Completing assessment reports and review documentation to funding and award body requirements Assessing learner evidence and provide guidance and feedback. Providing Information advice and guidance to suit the needs of the learners. Providing learners with any additional guidance and support as required
