Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen within our growing organisation for a roofing project manager to join our team. We require someone with extensive knowledge of the roofing industry, and in particular knowledge of commercial roofing such as cladding, general sheeting, and industrial-type roofing and fabric structures to assist our day to day running of the business; knowledge of domestic roofing is preferred. Candidates will initially be paired with one of our current contracts managers, shadowing them for a period of time, before going on to becoming responsible for attending to general enquiries, estimating jobs in conjunction with our office staff, and ultimately managing projects we successfully tender for. We would require the successful candidate to allocate our various squads to the ongoing projects and therefore manage the tradesmen and site(s) accordingly. It is compulsory that applicants have similar experience in working on commercial sites and managing tradespeople on such sites. An ability to create RAMS, CPP's and general working programmes is compulsory, with a solid awareness of Health & Safety. Time would be split between sites and office approximately 50/50, although this will be subject to change, depending on the amount of site work ongoing, at any particular time.
