About the Role

We are seeking an experienced roofing professional with a passion for teaching to join our training team as a Roofing Tutor. You'll deliver high-quality training, mentoring, and assessment to learners at various skill levels, helping to prepare the next generation of roofers for successful careers in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and practical training sessions in roofing techniques and safety standards. Support and assess learners in both classroom and workshop/site environments. Develop lesson plans, training materials, and assessments. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to support learner progress. Ensure all training is delivered in line with industry regulations, standards, and awarding body requirements.

Requirements

Proven experience in the roofing trade Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and roofing best practices. Excellent communication and mentoring skills. Teaching or training qualification (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent) desirable - or willingness to work towards one. Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA) is an advantage.
