Rooftop Bar Supervisor (weekends Off!)

Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking full time Bar Supervisor to join our dynamic team at The Deck rooftop bar, based in, Monument, EC3R 8HL.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in our cafe and bar, preparing food and drinks, serving food, and ensuring that the bar area is kept clean and tidy. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, possess excellent communication skills, and have a passion for providing outstanding customer service.

Previous bar/ Hospitality experience is essential

W/C 17th November 2025!



This is a 37.5 hours per week role:

Monday - Friday only

(varied hours each day) Weekends OFF and Occasionally also a Monday/Friday OFF!!

Your hours should be regarded as flexible but will generally be as below:

Mon - 10:30 - 18:30 Tues - 12:00 - 20:30 Wed - 12:00 - 22:30 Thurs - 10:30 - 22:30 Fri - 14:00 - 19:00
45 minute unpaid break with the opportunity for additional overtime.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work in a fast-paced environment To support the Manager running the bar, cafe and team To operate in high pressure environments in a calm manner To lead by example across all aspects of the role Problem solve under pressure Serve drinks (beer, wines, spirits & mixers) Serve lunch at the counter Ensure that all areas of the bar, bar tools and equipment are maintained and cleaned Provide customers with a positive experience Ensure that orders are filled correctly and that we have sufficient supplies for the week Complete simple inventory counting procedures to ensure that we have all food and bar supplies available for the week (e.g. stock shelves, prepare boxes, etc.) Complete all weekly food hygiene paperwork Undertake weekly and month end stock checks with accuracy and in a timely manner Undertake alcohol order where necessary in the absence of the Manager Ensure that the operation is in accordance with current practice, management, and measurement of all areas of responsibility including health & safety, food safety and licensing laws.
Skills and Qualifications

At least 5 years of Bar/Cafe experience and 1- 2 years in a supervisor role Ability to make coffees Basic knowledge of alcohol laws in the state of work location Basic knowledge of food handling, including but not limited to beer taps, glassware, etc. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques such as making cocktails is preferred but not required Positive attitude and willingness to learn new things Basic knowledge of basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.)is preferred but not required Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
