Responsible for Housekeeping: To control stock levels of products and linen. Supervise and control the cleaning and servicing of all bedrooms, corridors, back of house and public areas.
Main Duties: o Enters and prepares the room for cleaning. o Dusts the room and furniture. o Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies. o Cleans the bathroom. o Cleans the closet. o Vacuums and racks the carpet. o Checks and secures the rooms. o Replenish amenities according to the operational standards. o Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests e.g., iron and ironing boards o Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of guests o Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g., steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning etc.) as required o Cleans guest bathroom/bedroom/floor corridor. o Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day. o Always maintain positive guest relations. o Be familiar with all hotelservices/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately. o Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. o Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas. o Empty trash containers and ashtrays. o Remove all dirty terry and replace with the clean par to the designated layout.o Remove soil, dirt, soap build-up and hair from bathroom mirrors, vanity, sink, toilet, shower walls, bathtub, shower curtain and floor. o Replace facial, toilet tissue and bathroom amenities in correct amount and location. o Inspect condition of bathrobes and replace soiled/damaged ones. o Remove dirty bed linen and make up bed with clean linen. o Replace laundry bags and slips. o Clean closets and door tracks on check-out rooms, removing dust and debris. Ensure correct amount and placement of hangers, extra blanket/pillow, and luggage rack. o Dust and polish all furniture. o Realign furniture to the floor plan. o Responsible for replenishment of guest complimentary water. o Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of his work area. o Responsible for the Hotel property in the work area. o Attends to guest calls, guest requests /guest complaints in the area assigned to him. o Authorize to enter in guestrooms for cleaning and providing turndown services as per requirement. o Responsible for following the standard operating procedures. o Responsible for achieving and exceeding the guest satisfaction score. o Update status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheet. o Return and restock cart at end of shift.
