Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Room Attendant

to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas within the hotel. This position requires a commitment to providing exceptional service to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests.

Duties

Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies. Ensure all guest bathrooms are thoroughly cleaned and stocked with necessary toiletries. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly. Maintain cleanliness in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items. Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties. Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure high standards of service are met.

Experience

Previous hotel experience is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. A background in hospitality or janitorial services is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. A friendly and approachable demeanour, with a commitment to customer satisfaction.
