We are looking for 1 full time Room Lead practitioner with a level 3 nursery nursing qualification. We would love you to to be part of our growing family

We are excited to be offering the post of a Room Lead practitioner to join our dedicated team within the 2 year old room. The successful candidate should be, inspirational, calm, organised, professional and a team player. The successful candidate will assist our exceptionally experienced and supportive management team to provide a happy and inspiring environment to ensure that all children receive the highest possible standards of care, nurturing and education. Salary: 26,557.44 per annum

Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, all year round.

Experience:

Supervisory skills: 2 years (preferred) Level 3 nursery nursing qualification Childcare: 2 years (required)

Key Responsibilities

Provide leadership and support to all nursery nurses to enable them to maintain and promote positive, professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and carers, and other professionals.

Promote our values and ethos to ensure a happy, child-centred, safe and stimulating environment is provided whilst meeting the individual needs of every child.

Promote an outstanding standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment and resources to meet all requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage and Safeguarding Welfare Requirements

To ensure that our thorough planning and assessment system is accurately maintained by the nursery practitioners.

Support the provision of outstanding childcare practice in relation to special educational needs and inclusion.

Provide leadership and support to all nursery nurses to enable them to establish and maintain professional, positive working relationships with colleagues, parents and carers

Ensure the effective implementation of the nursery key carer system and allocate key children appropriately

Ensure that all children are kept safe and that the team are confident to follow safeguarding procedures

Proactively promote the nursery to current and potential parents, including in the wider community

Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nursery

To assist the Manager, seniors and other room lead staff members to actively support and promote the development of colleagues and students

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements

Minimum Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification Strong communication skills - both written and verbal An excellent understanding of child development and the ability to recognise and address any concerns. Good knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures Experience of successfully managing the delivery of the EYFS within our nursery environment Professional, knowledgeable and inspirational in promoting the learning and development of young children Excellent role model and team leading skills, prioritising tasks effectively Two satisfactory references, one must be from most recent employer.
