Overview

We are recruiting a Room Leader with Third in Charge responsibilities for our welcoming and friendly setting in Chester. We have a great reputation for quality childcare and a central location with easy access to transport links.The salary is based on 42.5 hours a week but we will also consider condensed hours over 4 full days.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality child care with passion and enthusiasm . Lead activities and programmes aligned with early childhood education standards Monitor children's safety and wellbeing at all times, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and external agencies regarding children's progress and any concerns Organise schedules, assign tasks, and manage staffing rotas to optimise team performance Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and developmental milestones Assist in organising educational activities that promote learning and development Ensure the childcare environment remains clean, organised, and stimulating for children

Qualifications

Proven management or leadership experience within a childcare or nursery setting Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childcare best practices Experience working with children, preferably within nursery or preschool environments Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively Organised with the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently Passionate about child development and creating positive learning experiences

Pay: 30,431.00-32,045.00 per year
