At the Big Top Nursery Roman Park, we believe in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 3months- 4 years. Our dedicated team is passionate about early childhood education and fostering each child's unique potential. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Day Nursery Room Leader to join our vibrant team within our 2-3 year old space.


Role Overview:
As a room leader you will oversee the daily operations of your designated room, ensuring a high standard of care and education for the children. Your leadership will help create a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages both child development and team collaboration.


Key Responsibilities:


Lead and inspire a team of educators, fostering a positive and effective working environment.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote holistic development.
Support the Nursery Manager in maintaining compliance with OFSTED standards and health and safety regulations.
Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
Collaborate with parents to build strong relationships and support their children's development.
Assist in the training and development of new staff members.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children.


Qualifications:


Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting, with previous leadership experience preferred.
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
Passionate about providing high-quality care and education to young children.
