Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader in our small, friendly day nursery. The ideal candidate will join our small team in providing a high-quality childcare experience for our children and their families. Candidates should have relevant qualification at Level 3 or above and possess strong leadership skills to effectively manage a small team. They should be creative in developing the curriculum and have a fun, enthusiastic and energetic approach. Candidates should be passionate about providing a high quality child centred service and will need to be flexible and responsive in their approach. We would value leadership experience as a desirable criteria. Experience in a similar position would also be desirable but not essential.

Duties

- Lead a small team of room staff

- Plan and implement engaging activities for children

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children within the room

- Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues

- Manage daily operations of the nursery room

- Focus on developing high quality services

Skills

- Previous experience in a nursery or childcare environment

- Ability to communicate effectively

- Knowledge of early childhood education principles

- Leadership skills to inspire and guide a team

- Strong organisational skills to manage daily activities efficiently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 13.21 per hour
