Room Lead

to guide, support, and nurture both children and colleagues as we bring our natural learning ethos to life.

What You'll Be Doing

As Room Lead, you'll be the heartbeat of your room -- setting the tone, leading by example, and inspiring your team to create a warm, creative, and high-quality environment. You'll:

Take the lead on planning, delivering, and evaluating fun, engaging, and nature-led learning experiences. Champion the EYFS, ensuring every child is supported to grow, explore, and thrive. Guide and motivate your team, bringing positivity and professionalism to every day. Build strong, trusting partnerships with parents -- keeping communication open, honest, and supportive. Ensure the room runs smoothly, safely, and with that special DEN touch.

What We're Looking For

You'll shine in this role if you're:

Qualified in Early Years (Level 3 or above). Experienced in a nursery setting with a solid understanding of EYFS and room leadership. A confident communicator and natural motivator who leads with warmth and integrity. Passionate about outdoor learning, creative play, and giving children the best start in life. Organised, proactive, and always ready to roll up your sleeves when needed.
