Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to oversee our childcare facility during designated shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education, demonstrate excellent leadership skills, and have experience working with children. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children, and effectively communicating with staff and parents.

Responsibilities

Supervise and support staff members to ensure high-quality care and education for children. Manage daily activities and routines, ensuring they align with educational goals and safety standards. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Foster a positive team environment through leadership and collaboration. Assist in the development of educational programmes that cater to the needs of children in our care. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to childcare operations. Drive initiatives that promote the well-being of children and enhance their learning experiences.

Requirements

A background in early childhood education is essential. Proven leadership experience within a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is preferred. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a calm demeanour under pressure. A passion for childcare and the ability to inspire others in their roles is crucial.
