Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated
Room Leader
with a Level 3 Child Care qualification to lead a room within our early years setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities, supporting staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education to children.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a room of early years children, supporting their learning and development.
Mentor and support nursery staff in delivering excellent childcare and educational practices.
Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Maintain accurate records, including observations, assessments, and care plans.
Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Contribute to the overall smooth running of the nursery and assist with setting-wide initiatives.
Requirements:
Level 3 Child Care qualification required.
Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within early years education.
Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
Knowledge of EYFS and best practices in child development.
Passionate about supporting children and staff to reach their full potential.
