Room Leader - (Full-Time)

Location: The Wolds Day Nursery, Old Melton Road, Plumtree, Nottingham, NG12 5NH

Full-Time, 40 hours per week | All year round

We are looking for a passionate and experienced

Room Leader

to join our team, leading in one of our under 2s room with warmth, professionalism, and care. This is a full-time, permanent role for someone ready to take the next step or continue to grow in their leadership journey.

What we're looking for:

A

Level 3 or above childcare qualification

(essential)

Experience working with children under 2 years

Strong

knowledge of child development

and the

EYFS framework

Solid understanding of

safeguarding policies and procedures

Experience managing or leading a small staff team

in an Early Years setting A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for early childhood education

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire your room team to provide high-quality care and learning opportunities Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for babies Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals Support staff development and maintain high standards of practice Oversee planning, observations, and assessments in line with EYFS
