Key Duties
Oversee the effective daily running of the room.
Maintain a strong understanding of company policies, procedures, and expectations.
Act as a positive role model, demonstrating high-quality practice in all areas.
Ensure excellent hygiene, health and safety, and safeguarding standards are maintained.
Work collaboratively with management and other room leaders.
Support and lead your team in planning and delivering activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
Supervise observation, assessment, and planning processes to ensure all children make progress.
Liaise with external professionals when required.
Build trusting relationships with families and promote open communication.
Qualifications (Essential)
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
Sound knowledge of the Early Years sector.
Good standard of English and Maths.
Relevant Experience and Skills (Essential)
At least 2 years' experience working in a nursery or similar early years setting.
Experience as a key person.
Strong understanding of the EYFS and current Ofsted framework.

Ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Basic administrative and IT skills.
Effective leadership and teamwork abilities.

Paediatric First Aid certificate.
Safeguarding training.
Food Hygiene Level 2.
