About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic

Room Leader

with a

Level 3 early years qualification

to lead a team in our nursery in NW10. The Room Leader will oversee the day-to-day running of their room, ensuring high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

This role is ideal for a confident practitioner with leadership experience, who can mentor staff, support children's development, and maintain strong relationships with parents.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of practitioners in your room, providing guidance, mentoring, and support Plan, implement, and evaluate age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS Observe, assess, and record children's progress and development Ensure the room environment is safe, engaging, and well-organised Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues Uphold safeguarding, health, and safety standards at all times Support nursery management with staff training, team meetings, and compliance

Required Qualifications & Skills

Level 3 Early Years qualification (NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent)

Proven experience working in a nursery setting Leadership or supervisory experience desirable Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills Passionate, proactive, and child-centred approach Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
