We are looking to recruit a qualified room leader minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent to join our fantastic nursery located in Dunstable.

This is a brilliant opportunity to work in a nursery that provides a natural homely environment that will empower children to explore using their natural curiosity and develop through awe and wonder. Our expert childcare team look after children from Birth to five years.

As a room leader, you will play a vital role in leading a small team in early years and ensuring the smooth running of the room. This full-time position offers excellent opportunities for professional growth, including additional training and potential for promotion within our organization.

Responsibilities:

Safeguard the children in your care, prioritizing their safety, well-being, and emotional development at all times. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment for children, parents, and staff, adhering to nursery policies and procedures. Build positive and successful relationships with children, parents, and staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive atmosphere. Lead the team within your assigned room, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure best practices and high standards are consistently maintained. Support the management team by actively contributing to the smooth operation of the nursery. Stay up-to-date with current childcare regulations and best practices, implementing them effectively within the room. Attend and actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
You will be working alongside other qualified members of staff in a lively and friendly setting between the hours of 8am - 6pm.
