We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader with a Level 3 qualification to join our vibrant nursery team. Our nursery is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where children can grow, learn, and thrive, and as a Room Leader, you will play a key role in shaping their early years.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and inspire a team of practitioners, ensuring a high standard of care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's development across all areas, creating a stimulating environment for exploration and learning. Work closely with parents and carers to build strong relationships and ensure the needs of each child are met. Observe, assess, and record children's progress, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records to track their development. Take responsibility for the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your room. Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative atmosphere among staff, working together to provide the best possible learning environment. Lead by example in maintaining a high standard of professionalism, organization, and care.

A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to creating a nurturing, inspiring environment for children. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support your team, as well as build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Creative and enthusiastic in planning and delivering activities that engage young minds and support development. Patience, empathy, and understanding to meet each child's individual needs. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and oversee the room's day-to-day operations. A team player who is eager to collaborate, share ideas, and contribute to a supportive and professional work environment. A commitment to your own professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest best practices in early years education.

Essential Criteria - Qualifications/Experience:



Full and relevant

Level 3 Childcare Qualification

(or higher) - Essential

1+ year's experience

working in Early Years, with supervisory or leadership experience preferred A sound understanding of the

EYFS framework

and regulatory requirements - Essential

Fluent in written and spoken English

- Essential A passion for leading and mentoring a team to provide outstanding care and education.

Job Type:



Full-time, Permanent

Salary:



26,000 and above, depending on qualifications and experience.

Pay: 26,000.00-28,000.00 per year
