Key Responsibilities

Lead and motivate a team of practitioners to deliver exceptional care and education. Oversee the daily running of your room, ensuring routines, planning and activities meet children's individual needs. Implement and uphold the EYFS, safeguarding, and all relevant policies. Work closely with parents/carers, building strong and positive relationships. Support staff supervisions, mentoring and role-modelling best practice. Maintain high standards of health and safety, behaviour management, and cleanliness. Track and monitor children's progress, ensuring accurate and meaningful observations.

About You

Level 3 in Childcare (or above). Previous experience as a Room Leader or strong Practitioner ready for progression. Confident in leading a team and supporting staff development. Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and children's development. Excellent communication, organisational and people skills. Passionate, warm, and committed to providing the very best start for every child.

Reading RG4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

L3 Childcare qualification (preferred)
