We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Room Leader who is motivated to do a Level 5 Apprenticeship to join a nursery team we are recruiting on behalf of!

Candidates

must

already hold an

Early Years Educator Level 3 Qualification

and be able to commit to your apprenticeship for a maximum of

24 months

is essential - this can be completed sooner depending on your learning progression.

This nursery is open all year around, however, the manager has said they would change this to term time only for the right candidate, this position can be full-time or part-time.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across various domains, including social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. Create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers on their development. Collaborate with colleagues to develop a cohesive curriculum that meets the needs of all children in the setting. Maintain accurate records of children's activities and progress in accordance with regulatory requirements. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication and teamwork.

Skills

Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and colleagues. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members. Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is

. A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to manage classroom dynamics while fostering an inclusive environment for all children. Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication within the role.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
