Meadgate Nursery has an opportunity for a motivating early years Baby room leader.

This is a full-time position requiring the successful candidate to flexibly work 40/50 hours Monday to Friday. This role is offering an hourly rate up to 13 per hour and the opportunity to feed your passion for growth and development.

The key responsibilities for a Baby Room Leader is to:

Lead the team of early years educators with a hands on approach to deliver childcare. Model and monitor best practice in accordance with regulatory guidelines Work closely with your team to create a shared vision of the room Supervise, support, and allocate tasks and duties to your team Support with new starter inductions, welcoming them to the team. Performance management when required through supervisions and one to one meeting's Deputise in the absence of Management Conduct nursery tours with confidence to sell available spaces Be a key holder for the nursery
Located in Great Baddow, 2 miles from Chelmsford town centre, Meadgate Nursery is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm.

To be successful for this role you should:

Hold a full and relevant Early Years Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher Have experience working with children aged under two Have good time management, meeting deadlines Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail Strong written and verbal communication skills Provide outstanding customer service An appropriate first aid qualification
This is the perfect opportunity for an individual with a passion and genuine interest in babies and their development. This role would be best suited for an experienced Nursery Nurse wanting to share their skills, expertise and knowledge with the baby room team.
