Room Leader Toddler Room

Are you an experienced early years practitioner with a passion for leading a team and creating a warm, engaging environment for children to learn and grow? We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Room Leader to join our friendly team at Kids Kingdom Daycare.

The Role

As a Room Leader, you'll lead by example to ensure a high standard of care and education in your room, You'll support your team, plan exciting activities aligned with the EYFS, and maintain a safe and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of practitioners within your room Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging EYFS-based activities Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and development of all children Support and mentor team members, including apprentices Communicate effectively with parents and carers Maintain accurate records and observations
Requirements

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare At least 1 year's experience in a nursery setting A genuine passion for working with children Good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements Confident leadership and communication skills Paediatric First Aid

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
