Key Responsibilities
Lead your room team to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
Deliver high-quality,
child-centred learning
in line with the EYFS and Puddle Jumpers' values
Be a
role model of excellent practice
, inspiring your team and championing reflective practice
Take responsibility for
room planning, assessments
, and high standards of care
Build strong, positive relationships with
children, families, and colleagues
Ensure all policies, procedures, and safeguarding practices are upheld to the highest standard
Ensure that the safety and welfare of children is paramount
Risk assess daily ensuring that the team understand what is expected of them to keep children safe
Work on a shift pattern within the nursery's opening hours (7.30am-6.30pm) with the ability to attend out of hours meetings and events as required

Essential Experience & Skills Required:
CACHE / NNEB/ NVQ level 3 or equivalent
Minimum 3 years' post qualification experience
Minimum 1 years' leadership experience
Recent experience of working with children aged 0 to 5 years.
